By now, the cheeky little denim jacket is a wardrobe essential with a high longevity factor. There’s tons of ways to wear one. To dress down a strict sheath dress or elegant flowy frock. To casualize a dressy pencil skirt or flared skirt look. To wear with all sorts of pants, from wide-legged trousers over silky track pants to long bermuda shorts and clamdiggers. This one is a little cropped for extra spunk and has a bit of fading for that nonchalant lived-in look.

Banana Republic is repeating this style this season because it’s a versatile piece for both work and play. It’s a classic semi-structured style shell in a 100% lightweight silk that looks great under a blazer or cardigan for the office. Or wear it more casually with a denim jacket, bomber, moto style or utility jacket and a pair of jeans, shorts or fun skirt. Lovely on its own too, although you might like to add a cami under the lighter colour options. It will only work on a full bust if the armholes allow for enough overage. Also available in orange, green and navy.

A fun pair of woven track pants with a silky feel. The elasticized hems and front pockets with zip closure are a nice design detail. Wear them with dressy footwear, a drapey top or button-down and a jacket to rock the unstructured structure look that is very on trend right now. Or go for a more casual vibe with a mesh sweater, flat sandals or sassy sneakers and a sweet crossbody bag. Note that you will not need your regular length of inseam with this style of bottom. Three to four inches shorter is going to work just fine because of the tapered and cuffed hems.

I recently purchased this long sleeve crewneck tee dress in the Bottle Bottoms print, and am very pleased with it. It’s an easy pull-on–and-go ruched sheath that hugs your curves but is not overly tight. Hits at the knee. Sassy and fun in the large check print. Perfect under roomy fashion forward toppers, and just as fab worn on its own. Also available in red and black.

Sleeved dresses with a nice bit of length are still hard to find, and this is a good one. It’s 38 inches long and provides great cleavage coverage. Ideal for curvier ladies who can fill out the silhouette and/or those with a broad shoulder line. Great on shorter necks too. Body skimming but not extra tight and quite forgiving. Wear it with boyfriend jeans or silky track pants for a casual all-over oversized look. Or pair it with a strict pencil skirt or dressy long shorts and refined footwear to play up the unexpected juxtaposition factor. Scrunch the sleeves for extra structure. Runs large.

These jeans have been a big hit with my clients this season, and I’ve just ordered a pair for myself. The denim is not see-through and has a bit of stretch to it. They’re great if you prefer the boyfriend jeans vibe tailored and your bottom perky in the style. As always with white jeans, you might need to go up one size.
