This blouse looks better in person. It drapes beautifully and the fabric is gorgeous. The front ruffle is very subtle. It’s lightweight yet covered and camouflaging of extra bits on the midsection. You have to wear a camisole, but the blouse is so dainty and romantic, you won’t feel like you are wearing it.

Collective Concepts Tie Neck Silk Top
Simply gorgeous with white bottoms. The pattern looks more like a splattered polka dot than a ditsy floral. Romantic, breezy and covered in all the right places. This will keep you cool on a hot Summer’s day. It’s also available in this vintage inspired print and stocks are running out fast.
Bellatrix Silk Shirt
I love this silk shirt and if it came in more colours, I’d snap up multiples. It really can become anything you want it to be, depending on how it’s styled. Wear it both for professional settings and on more casual days. I bought the silver and wear it both in classic and edgy ways. It’s not roomy on the bust so you might need to size up.
Hinge Handkerchief Hem Silk Shirt
The peacock pattern is divine! It’s so arty and fun I can’t stand it. The sleeve length is fabulous and you have control over the amount of cleavage you want to show. Don’t let the cropped front scare you. Try it on! It’s also available in peach.
Diane von Furstenberg Marroca Top
This is a beautiful silky and feminine blouse. It layers over the body like a cascading waterfall and is really comfortable to wear. Great over cigarette pants, skinnies, straight or boot cut jeans, clamdiggers or a pencil skirt. Of course, the pattern is very bold and is therefore an acquired taste.
DVF Falyn Blouse Top
Kenneth Cole New York White Tunic
Lightweight woven, cool and breezy shirts like this spell Spring. This shirt is not too roomy, but not too tailored either. The ruffle is perfect and the turned up sleeves add a nice utilitarian touch. Perfect over skinnies or cigarette pants as is, or over a pencil skirt or bootcuts with a belt. What can I say. I’m a woven top fan so I’m all over the tunic shirt look.
Gap Denim Shirt (Plus and Regular)
This shirt is described as “chambray”, but looks and feels much more like denim. It’s fairly tailored and runs true to size. I love the wash, snap-buttons and lightweight handle of the fabric, which is why it was ultimately the denim shirt that made it into my wardrobe. The breast pockets are positioned high enough so that they look fine on a larger bustline too. Thank you Gap for making a fabulous product!
INC Tunic Shirt
This style is breezy, light and refined. It’s empire cut won’t work on larger bust lines, but it’s worth a try because it’s cut quite long. The sleeve tab detail is adorable and the curved hemline is extra flattering. Looks so fresh over black Ponte pants or jeans. Simple, casual and chic.
As this post goes out it is on sale for $49.99.
Firetrap Longline Pintuck Tunic Shirt
The back cinch buckle detailing on this style is delicious. It’s like a painters shirt with added torso definition. Remember that you can pop the collar and scrunch up the sleeves for textural sass. Perfect over skinnies, cigarette pants, or boot cuts with heels. Forgiving, comfortable, arty and fun.
