Diamond Compression Knee High Socks

These have become my favourite socks in the world. They are warm, soft, comfortable and DON’T FALL DOWN. My only regret is that I didn’t discover them sooner. They are available in more colours and patterns in stores.

Ok, full disclosure. I haven’t worn these myself but I gave them to my mom as a gift and she’s been RAVING about them. So I’m writing this review on behalf of my mom. Unlike other pairs of trouser socks she has, these don’t fall. She said she wore them all day long without having to pull them up once. She was excited that they didn’t make those red marks you usually get from knee highs and that they don’t dig into your calf, i.e., they are actually comfortable.

I preferred the look of the patterned ones (a black on black diamond) better than the solids. I’m getting some of my own soon.

I discovered these about a year ago and won’t bother with anything else. They are truly awesome and make my calves and ankles feel great.

I’ve gone through a frustrating search to find the perfect socks to wear under boots that don’t fall down and are lightweight, and found these in December. They are immensely comfortable and meet all of my expectations. I also like this similar pair of trouser socks, which look shorter in the photo but are just as high on my calf as the diamond compression socks.

I found out how great they were by accident. I found a couple of pairs of ‘traveling’ knee highs that were actually compression socks @ TJ Maxx. I was thinking they might be good when I have to lecture in the classroom. They were nice, but kind of thick. Then I saw these online. I now have about a dozen pairs; (I have a confession to make: I’ve seen these compression socks for athletes that run from $35-85. On a lark, I wore these under my athletic quarter socks during my workouts. They really felt good…I understood why athletes would wear compression socks during and after sports events-but I am sticking with these). They breathe well, and I have also worn them over tights under boots.I am also rough on my hosiery-yes-these have gone into the washer and dryer many times-they don’t shrink or run! So their ppw is really low.

I have several of these in black and brown and they are amazing! Comfy and very durable. I practically live in them in the fall and winter.

I just to some of these and they are attractive and comfortable. I wish that they came in grey too. I wear a size 8 or 8.5 shoe and got the L/XL size in these socks. They fit fine and stay up well on my narrow calves. I’ll be ordering more of these.c
