As you know, we selected 100 Ideas that Changed Fashion as one of the titles we’ll be reading for our very own YLF Book Group. The author, fashion teacher and journalist Harriet Worsley, guides us through more than a century of style concepts, technologies and ideas that left their stamp on fashion as we know it, and tells us how exactly these changes came about.

If you’re curious to find out more about these 100 key players, then here’s your chance: Laurence King Publishing has kindly offered to give away five copies of the book. So there will be five lucky winners this time!

In order to participate in the competition, let us know which clothing item or style invention you feel has most dramatically revolutionized the world of fashion in the last hundred years. Enter the giveaway by filling out the entry form below with your answer.

The competition will close 5 minutes before midnight (Pacific Standard Time) on Thursday 10 November. I’m pleased to say that this competition is not restricted to the USA and Canada only, but open to all our readers worldwide. Anyone can enter!

As always, YLF members will get an additional ticket with their entry. For another chance to win, get a bonus ticket by following @youlookfab on Twitter and tweeting this blog post using the tweet button on the entry page.

Visit the Laurence King Publishing website to browse all their arty titles in a wide range of fields. You can also follow them on Twitter and like them on Facebook.
