There’s lots on sale at the moment as retailers clear their shop floors to make room for fresh Spring merchandise. I’ll be rounding up the sales all month long, and here’s the first instalment.
- Phase Eight Veronica Rose Dress: A romantic dress to wear to work or out. Bless them for including a back pattern - I'm sick of solid backs. Snug but not clingy. Excellent on a curvy figure.
- Phase Eight Shaniya Split Neck Knit Sweater: Very tailored, and fun to wear untucked with culottes, flared skirts, pencil skirts, or tailored trousers.
- Phase Eight Bellona Waterfall Coat: Not on sale but a wonderful unstructured waterfall coat with asymmetrical appeal.
- Bill Adler 1981 Jelly Bean Belt: Not on sale but red belts are hard to find.
- Eileen Fisher Log Two Buckle Mid Shaft Boots: Comfortable, well made, trendy, and in an unusual shade of toffee. Excellent bookending for strawberry blondes.
- Stuart Weitzman Platform Wedges - Zealous Oxford: Flatform Fabness. Good on lower volume feet.
- Coast Faux Pearl & Sparkle Necklace: Bling to finish off a dressy outfit or to dress up jeans. Very bold and chunky so consider yourself warned.
- LOVE MOSCHINO Pleated Hem Shirt With Embellished Collar: Asymmetrical Peplum Fabness for a hot Summer's day. Best on a smaller bust and straighter figure. Too tight across the chest for a very broad shoulder line.
- Helene Berman Green Concealed Front Cape: Forest Green Cape Fabness. It's great for Spring with black & white.
- House Of Holland House Of Holland Satin Applique Sweatshirt: Cartoon Sweatshirt Chic. Dressed down trendy with jeans, cropped pants and flatforms.
- House Of Holland House Of Holland Gingham Jumper: Bright gingham can brighten your day.
- Ganni Gisele Short Faux Leopard Fur Coat: A little faux fur Retro to wear over a column of black.
- Helene Berman Blue Camouflage Trench: A textured navy trench coat in a longer length, which is hard to find. Might run big.
- Reiss Lemaire Soft Grey Marl Twist-front Jumper: A great top for apple shaped body types. Comfy, modern, and just enough structure.
- Whistles Black Rye Slingback Leather Pointed Flat Shoes: Trendy closed toe flats to wear in warm weather. The strappy high vamp provides a Summery touch, as does the open heel. Nice with black ankle pants.
- Topshop Mixed Check Cape: A $30 poncho just for fun. The plaid breaks up the expanse of black, while the colour blocked front adds vertical integrity. It's BIG, so consider yourself warned.
- St. John Collection Tropical Wool Crop Sarong Pants: Dressy cropped, cross-over trousers that work well on a curvy hip and thigh with a defined waist. Wear with high-vamped footwear.
- Akris Punto Embellished Cotton Shirt: A tuxedo shirt with embellished pizzazz. Runs small.
- Akris Punto Dot Pattern Silk Tunic: A graphic spaced polka dot tunic with a '60s vibe.
- Story Of Lola Story of Lola Faux Fur Clutch in Black with White Contrast: A textured clutch, just for fun.
- Ganni Coat with Oversize Pockets: A lavender-grey cocoon coat that works well for Spring. Good over oversized tops and chunky knits. Works well buttoned and unbuttoned. Fun Modern Retro look.
