Sorry to spam, but felt I needed to upload another pic just to get those swimsuit pics off the top of my flickr account....even now they are too close for comfort hehe!

Anyway here's what I wore out last night for St Pats....I got in the spirit and wore green unlike my Irish flatmate!!!

This was my first time wearing the Cue skirt and I looooved it. Did not feel self conscious in it at all, which is crazy considering its a pencil skirt with a tucked in top!!

And here's another outfit I wore recently....out to trivia last week. Bad quality photo because it was a dark, stormy night. This is the first pic I've posted of this item I got for myself for Christmas...the Express not-leather vest. I love it!!!

Super cute outfits! I really like how you look in pencil skirts and you can totally tuck your tops. That vest is sweet. We are Star Ling twins!

You're certainly living the Melbourne lifestyle. My friend who used to live there was always out for "trivia night" and all kinds of other fun activities. I swear she had some new gig for every day of the week.

Queenie trivia night is where you go down to the pub and play trivia in teams...also known as "pub quiz" to the brits. It might be more of an Aussie/British thing, I don't know? It's a fun night out and something you can do with one other, or 10 other people. You should find one to check out and try it! We've currently settled on one at a great pub near here. It feels like you are sitting in someone's loungeroom with sofas and books everywhere. And they serve great chilli fries with sumac....mmmm!

Maya you are right, I am LOVING Melbourne. It is like the best of Sydney and the gong combined for me! Having said that my parents go out 2-3 times a week for trivia in Wollongong too My flatmate and I have made a list of things we want to do and explore down here...we're up to about 30 so far....2 already crossed off!!

I'm so happy that you're loving life in Melbourne- it's great when a risk/choice like that turns out to be 100% the right decision, isn't it? I think "trivia" is catching on elsewhere, too. One of my best friends does this at home in Canada, and she loves it. Does tournaments with teams from other cities and has met loads of people through it.

Melbourne absolutely rocks! I can't wait to get down there sometime. My hubby also loves it, (he is English) and finds Melbourne the most "European" of all the Australian cities. (That and he loves the AFL culture down there as well.)

Wow Tam, you look more stunning everytime you post! (glad you're back!). I agree with Katiepea, that shade of green is so beautiful on you, and good that you didn't feel self-conscious because you are rocking the pencil skirt with blouse tucked in.

And the vest, oh la la, also perfect (colour, cut and fit)!

Aww thanks guys! I do love this particular colour green, I know many people find it too bright, but I don't care, I like bright!! Is it a bit sad that I have 3 different tops alone I could have worn to St Pats in this shade

Pub quiz is every Sunday, although I start work at 9pm this week, so I'll have to leave early....blah! I'm pretty bad though, I'd say my only speciality subjects are literature, medicine and computers. Subjects I am useless at include history, geography, sports, music, mythology (greek/roman comes up A LOT) and current events. Not much of an asset really, am I? What are your speciality subjects R&J?

You know yesterday I found myself just walking around with a big smile on my face. It is nice that the risk has paid off so far. You guys were great in supporting me help make that decision too!! I'm going to start posting some blog entries about things I am exploring/loving about Melbourne. It's nice to feel excited about something again!

Hey katiepea when you come to Melb we can have a ylf-meetup of 2 - heheh!! Or 3 if Imogen is still around??
