Sorry to spam the forum with pics tonight, but I just wanted to share pics of the suit I wore to my recent interview.

I got the pants lengthened by an inch, and felt much happier with them. Even an inch longer they didn't quite meet the ground, but I didn't trip over them either. I guess I am now committed to wearing these pants with (small) heels!!!

I also got my hair cut the day beforehand, so its looking a lot neater than normal

I now feel comfident about having this suit as a go-to interview or "formal" event type outfit. I felt put-together, but still very me thanks to the fun shirt, shoes and watch! Thanks so much for your feedback and suggestions on my previous thread!!

Hi Tam! Your suit looks great! I like your hair in the photo as well, very sleek. The blouse you paired with the suit is very bright and cheerful. The length of the pants looks really good. It looks PPL to me, that is about the length I wear mine.

How did your interview go, do you know yet?

Love the suit, and I love that you wore them with the cute Fly London shoes too. I agree with the other ladies - it's wonderful that you were able to look very consistent with your normal style even while dressing professionally.

I forgot where you said you got this suit - this isn't the same one that you got custom-made for you, is it?

Thanks for the lovely comments! The interview itself was a bit of an anti-climax - literally 4 questions and over in 10 minutes. Really it was a hassle that they refused to do it over the phone. Oh well it was an excuse to go to Melbourne for the weekend.

I think I find out next week how it went. It's a complicated system though, and even if I do get an offer at one of the hospitals (I had 2 phone interviews too), recent changes in A's work may not making moving down there a possibility anyway, which is very bad timing as that is a big part of why I applied interstate too. If only I had of known that the week prior!

Ana, looking at pics makes me want to get a hair straightener. I wish I could make my hair this neat when I wanted to!

Joy, R&J, Vani, San, Marianne, Shana, Maya, Tanya, Jean - I'm glad the suit gets thumbs up with the alteration. I'm also surprised (in a good way) about what a difference an inch makes on pants. Can you believe this was my first time getting pants hemmed (up or down). Took me a while huh!!!

Angie I love the look of the shoes too. They did rub my outer toes something horrid though. Ouchy. Hopefully that will stop happening over time!!!

Kari yep this is the suit I got made up in Vietnam. If I had found ylf before getting it made I may not have needed to take it back for alterations!!
