WW - a very stripe-y spring week

When going through my closet to see what I already have that is currently in style, I discovered that I own quite a few striped tees/knits, so I decided to try to wear one of them at least once a week. There is also an old vertically striped black&jacket, which I am going to rotate on the weekly basis with the new Express navy/white horizontally striped one, a rare new purchase for this spring. On the blog post on how to wear striped jackets, Angie mentioned that this one is less refined than the options she featured, which is true; but the fact that it is so casual works better for my work environment.
The second outfit is inspired by Angie's recent one when she wore a striped tee over a white button down shirt. I am wondering if I should switch the buttons on cardigan in #3 to, say, burnished silver, for a more current look?

Very nice! Flattering silhouettes in all of these outfits. I think the buttons on #3 are fine as they are.

#1-Love that green color paired with the striped blazer. I tried this blazer on myself in the store and it is quite comfy!

#2-Lovely layered look here. This works really well with that boatneck on the striped top.

#3-A fun spring look. You have reminded me to start wearing my white denim. I don't know what I've been waiting for?

Outfit 1 is my favourite! I really like the nautical stripe and kelly green together. I also love the idea of changing the buttons on the cardigan in 3 to silver ones, plus it's not like you couldn't change them back later if you decided it didn't work for you.

Bloggers always talk about remixing (which i never get because don't we all wear the same things over and over?) but this is true remixing. Conscious thinking about making something seem new with a different pairing or color mix.

Love the looks - jackets are perfect on you. I like the buttons on that classic jacket.

Thank you all very much! The stripes were lot of fun. I am still unsure about those buttons - will probably change them if I find the perfect substitute, but otherwise will not bother.

All these looks are so lovely and each is distinctively different from the others. I want to try putting a shirt under one of my striped tees! That jacket in #1 is beautiful! #3 picture is a knockout!
