WIW...olive skinnies lab.

Like MsMary and Dianthus, I'm into my olive skinnies this week. I don't have a fab gingham button down, but I did have some Pinterest inspiration for look #1 (my favourite). I like the mix of blush with olive in #2 and think a contrasting topper would be better than the matchy olive one I used (held in hand). The top in #2 has a lot of olive in it, but it doesn't translate well in the photo. I do like the high vamp footwear with the cropped leg.

Comments, suggestions welcomed. I'm looking forward to further experimentation with olive green.

I like your combos! I've been playing with olive bottoms myself.

I wonder if a shorter top (or tucking/semi-tucking) would balance the cropped bottoms in the second and third outfits, especially where there is high contrast between top and bottom. I think the high vamped shoes work very well here.

This is great! Olive pants, striped top, and denim jacket is one of my very favorite combinations in the whole wide world, and you are rocking it!

And oh my gosh! I am swooning over the olive-and-blush combination!

My favourite is the lace top combo. You look gorgeous in this! It's making me think you might also like to try a bright or other light colour....like cobalt (which Angie posted about earlier) . I think the colour comb would look fantastic with your colouring.

The striped top with the olive works so well but the lace is a lovely contrast to the more masculine olive cargo pant.

I feel an inspired outfit coming on for Friday.

Love olive pants. You look fab. I agree about the higher vamped shoes.

I olive best with a black, white, ink blue, or heather grey top.

I like the first two looks the best. The striped shirt and the lace top really freshen up the dark olive pants. In the last outfit, I wonder if a light topper (white jean jacket, maybe) or a pop of red (a pair of your red shoes?) might brighten the look a little bit. I don't need a lot of brightness (ahem, coming from the muted neutral princess here, after all), but I'm looking for just a touch.

You're killing it in the olive skinnies Carla! I think I'm with Sharan in preferring the first two iterations the best too.

BTW I have some olive pants and have worn blush with them

5 is very cool. What top is that? It looks very interesting.

I'm also so loving the potential for blush with these great pants. Diane's pic and your dandy-boy image are fabulous -- makes me want to put something together in these tones right away.

Great looks, I especially love the stripes and olive combo...that's one of my go to outfits with my olive skinnies, but it's been too hot around here to wear them for quite some time. Love the blush/pink combos...that seems fresh and fun!
