Finally, the picture uploaded.. So, here's WIW today.

Blue legging jeans-Gap
Black tunic-Target
denim jacket- American Eagle
Owl pendant-Kohl's
Booties- Rieker

Caroline's Mode is favorite bloggers right now. I love the skinnies and booties look. It feels chic without being too trendy or young for me.http://carolinesmode.com/cat/136/dagens-outfit/

Anyway, that is kind of the look I was going for. Does it look ok? Any tips or suggestions? Constructive criticism welcome.

<Waving! > I love this casual look. It looks effortlessly stylish. I think it's a great basic look that you can change with the addition of boots (DV storms perhaps) and/or a scarf. LOVE the blue jeans on you : ) Great to see you again--did you change your hair? I think I spy some new highlights?

Hi Kelly! Thanks for your sweet comments! oooh, a scarf...that would be cute! And I actually debated whether to wear the booties or the DV boots. My hair is longer and I did get some pretty bold highlights at the beginning of the summer. I'm about to go in for a trim and some low lights to darken it back up. The blonde highlights are pretty, but they really burn up my hair.

You look great! To mimic the fashion of Caroline's Mode just a little more, you could try booties. I like the suggestion of a scarf too.

Celia-The leggings are so comfy. They are more substantial than just regular cotton leggings, yet just as comfy. You should try them!

Claire-Thanks! I just recently found that blogger and love her looks. She has some amazing jackets and sweaters. She looks comfortable, but not sloppy and definitely not overdone.

Amy-I know, right? I love those booties she is wearing. I found these "shooties" and they are super comfy. They work, but they aren't "exactly" what I was looking for. My only fear with booties is shortening my leg line. Caroline has super long legs.
