WIW...9.15-9.21 - YouLookFab Forum

Another happy Monday! Our summer keeps on keeping on around here. We had a blip midweek but it's been super nice. Looks like our fall is creeping in this week. My WIW's are mostly stuff you've seen, maybe remixed a bit. Here goes:

1) 9/15 - wore to meet my sister for lunch - Jacob citron wrap top, grey F21 skinnies, BC HardToTell sandals
2) 9/16 afternoon & 9/17 - changed into this after gear all day, and wore to volunteer the next day (Yay repeaters!) - Zella white top, AE jeggings, Nike pink sneakers
3) 9/18 - whoops working backwards as the day progressed - to walk the dog, navy H&M coat (new - I needed a casual topper for days like this) - Hudson cuffed jeans, Nike pink sneakers
4) What I wore most of the day - but actually ripped the jacket off because it was warm and humid - same as #3 but with Born combat boots and debut of the Coach Legacy bag from NAS (yep - I pulled the trigger at the very last second...couldn't resist
5) Same - without the jacket
6) 9/19 - wore this out to dinner (instead of the dress over pants previously posted). Easy fallback that I've posted here before.
7) added Danier leather jacket, but was WAY too hot. Oh well. Funny - this was a workhorse last season but I'm not feeling it as much this year. Maybe as the weather cools down...
8) 9/20 - WIW to host 17 hockey families for a welcome hockey party for DS' team. Easy and cool for running around
9) 9/21 - to ferry kids to and from hockey practice, walk the dog, etc. Zara citron top, F21 cutoffs, Ugg shoes

Everything looks fabulous, Jackie - smart casual, casual and very casual. Wouldn't tweak a thing. But oh my word, am I blown away by #6 and #7. Absolutely killer.

You hosted 17 hockey families in your home. WOW. You are amazing. xo

You killed it this week!

That top in #1 is gorgeous. For #4, you do the rolled hem and boots well. You look far more put together in casual outfits than I do (I'm working on that).

But it's all about #6 for me. You look AMAZING.

I love your casual, but yet sophisticated-cool, MOTG style! You do it SO very well and I need to take notes, as I really, really struggle with this. I especially love #6 as well, but the others are equally as great! I think I need to check out your previous WIWs because you make it look so effortless!

These are such great outfits, Jackie. You look so chic, even to walk the dog! My faves are the same as Shevia's: 4/5 and 6/76. Just stunning. I'm so glad you got that Coach bag--it is such a great style, shape, and color for you.

Fab week Jackie! #6/7 is soooo good. I was hoping to find a leather jacket in just that color at NAS this year, but alas no luck. I'm sure as the weather cools you'll reach for it more (and if not uhhh I'm not too far away ). Fun also to see your daily outfit progressions as the day's needs change. Can't believe you hosted 17 families! 17 people is tough, let alone whole groups of them. And you looked perfectly cool and cute for it, too. I'm impressed!

Another great week of outfits. I love 6/7, and also 8-9. The Pink Sneakers are also fun. And what a busy day hosting that many families. I am guessing this is the before pic:) After may have been lying on the couch with a glass of wine??

All of these great but I especially like #6 and #7. Maybe you'll like the jacket again when the weather cools down, but sometimes something that was a favorite one season is not reached for as much the next year. Something new might replace it as your go-to jacket this season.
