I have a backlog of WIWs to post, but can't seem to get ahead enough to post more than a current day. Crossing my fingers my computer doesn't crash on me soon because I'm seeing way too much of the apple "wheel of death" as my kids like to call it....

So yesterday started out with an absolute deluge of rain. I tend to plan my outfits from the ground up, depending on what boots I'm going to wear. I'm surprised to see how much my skinnies have been back in rotation with the wet weather. I have been reluctant to pull out this sweater again. There is something about this cut that doesn't feel right to me. First of all, I really don't like the deep splits in the hem. I feel like I'm wearing a sandwich board sometimes. I guess I am used to always semi-tucking and have a hard time with the full waist surrender.  Can't put my finger on it. Regardless, I think it felt better when I put my black Zella jacket on top because it added back a bit of structure, which I do like. The sweater is a nice cozy cashmere/angora blend, which was perfect for the wet dreary day. Can't say I'm impressed with the sweater, though, the seams have already split at the cuffs after only a few wears. If I lived in the US I'd bring it right back to Nordie's, but alas....

Photo 3 shows the progression of the day. I was scheduled to scorekeep at DS' hockey game which means frigid temps in the timekeeper/scorekeeper box. I threw on my Canada Goose parka (which was a gift from DH last year), and, avert your eyes people with "Ugg-poison-eyes" :), my grey zip-up Uggs. Teal infinity scarf and I was set for the freezing elements.

Oops didn't mean to be so wordy today. What do you think of the sweater? Does it look ok or should I ditch this type of look?

Thanks for looking
