WIW x4// First one in a while ...!!

Dear YLF,

How is everyone holding up? Well; I have done surgery, and written my exam yesterday (we find out results in a week, or so); and I have my big final scary exam coming up this weekend; so I hope you will continue to forgive me for being sparse. I have taken a few shots of WIW; and I'm finding this more difficult as I get up before the sun and get home after the sun. Must sneak out on potty breaks or something ... lol.

1 ... A outlet clearance find on the dress; only $19.99 with 30% off. Can't go wrong, eh? Out for sushi with the Microwave Boy.
2/3 ... I loved the look of the dress (5), but couldn't afford the Le Chateau version ($169!); but I found this other one I am currently wearing at Suzy Shier for $45; and it's definitely my new closet workhorse!
4 ... Another outlet clearance find; $19.99 with 30% off; took a little nip tuck, but another love that comes out to play a lot! Linen blend though, so gotta be careful when I sit down, or else I'll wrinkle up!

The only other "new to you" thing would be my boots in #3; they're most definitely faux and cheap; but I thought they were too trendy to invest in. Am looking for a pair of fabtastic riding boots though!

Oh my! Amazing and really beautifull composed! I love how you took a really girly dress and made it more wearable for the fall (and likely more comfortable) with those boots. I know you're really busy and might not be able to comment a lot, but what kind of boots are those in pic 1? Are they the infamous Doc Martins everyone talks about? If so, I didn't realize they had a seam around the toe. Happy operating and good luck on your exam!

Claire - the boots in #1 are actually Fossil I have two pairs of Doc Martens too; they just haven't come out to play because one of them made me trip. And I am still mad at them. Being post-call may have had something to do with this too. LOL. Poor boots.

Mo - good eye that jacket defines me at the hospital; people know not to touch it when it's on the rack, and people know who it belongs to. It is my favorite purchase this fall, in addition to the dress in 2/3. It's been worn quite a few more times than the $1/wear I usually aim for ($27).

You are looking remarkably well-turned out (and awake) for a someone on a surgery rotation! (and I know you are kidding about the potty-break....you only get a moment every 12-16 hrs for that and praying the whole time that your pager doesn't go off...no time for pic taking). Are you doing Step 2 of the boards? Good luck!!
