My semester is winding down, and I will spend most of the summer at home working. I have a few meetings this week, so I thought I would post those outfits, plus my more typical casual summer looks.

I have joked around about how I spend lots of the summer wearing Mrs. Roper caftans, and Angie has asked me about them :). So I am posting a pic of me in one of them, so you can all get an afternoon chuckle. Hard to beat the comfort, ladies--you should join me on Team Caftan!

#1-2 Untucked or tucked? I lean toward untucked, because I'm more comfortable with that plus the jacket is pretty cropped. Thoughts?

These are my Express Columnist cobalt blue boot cuts that I sized up in and had the tailor taper at the bottom (they were a bit too short as bootcuts and I love the versatility of these--no worries about PPL); Rachel Rachel Roy patterned jacket; striped Target tank; Vic shoes via yoox.com; silver Gap belt (old).

#3 Another work look: Pencil skirt, Talbots; olive linen moto, ON; cream top, AT; snakeskin shoes, Kelsi Dagger; bracelet, Mikkat Market.

#4 Detail of the top--sort of sweet for me, but the workmanship was so cool, and I thought it would be a great spring/summer layer.

#5 Typical summer look: Paige skinny jeans from Chicago Rack (love! wish I'd bought two pair!); J. Crew silk top; 1" wedge heel snakeskin sandals (very comfy), Miz Mooz.

#6 Another typical summer look: Gap skinny cut-offs; poly top from Urban Outfitters; new peep toe booties from Revolve Clothing (I'm standing funny to try to show off their details).

#7 It's caftan time! Land's End, maybe 3 years old. No one outside of my immediate family has ever laid eyes on these :).

#8 Mrs. Roper, with Mr. Roper, of course.

I always want and appreciate frank feedback--good, bad, constructive criticism, etc.
