WIW: White, grey, cream & watermelon

A bit of a casual outfit for work today - no meetings and no boss! Plus it's windy and a little on the cooler side.

So out came the white BF jeans. Can you believe I didn't own a single pair of white jeans until two years ago and YLF? Now I can't imagine not having a pair in my wardrobe.

I paired the white BF's with a marled light-weight grey/cream v-neck pullover. I thrifted this pullover a couple of weeks ago and am finally getting around to wearing it. I love the drape on this top, its hi-lo hem and the dolman-like, angled short sleeves. Plus it's just super soft…summer cozy, you know?

I've added my wide white leather belt, cream laser cut oxfords, taupe/silver wrap watch and my watermelon coloured handbag for accessories. Red specs finish off the outfit.

I'm happy with how this turned out - what do you think? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

Perfect summer cozy!

I so need to wear my white jeans, but I have been even making my light wash jeans look visibly dirty at work, so I can't yet!

This is gorgeous! I love the sweater. You look fab in your white jeans Shannon. It's inspiring because I never feel quite right in mine:).

BTW and for your info, I tried the grey Metalicus Powell Dress on today, and while it was gorgeous, it showed my lumps and bumps way too graphically:). The dress wasn't bodycon and was reasonably roomy but something about the ruching just didn't work. I think the lighter colour made a difference also, I think black would be more flattering:)

You look terrific. Summer inspire but still warm enough for a cool day. Just love the pol of,color the purse adds. And the shoes are perfect. A bit dressier to add that element but so fun and fab.

Thistle - these shoes have been another stellar buy of mine from a few years ago. They took a bit of breaking in but became as comfy as slippers.

This outfit brings several things to mind. First: I love wearing jeans in the summer, white or blue. I don't know why it feels so different from other times of year but for me there is something extra comfy about jeans on a breezy summer day. Love it. Second: you are the absolute best at adding a jolt of just the right color to push an outfit over the happiness edge. This watermelon is fantastic! And third: the shoes. LOVE.
