Angie challenged us earlier this week to put together some maximal outfits. Now this is not a problem for me for the most part, as my style is pretty maximal anyway. However, it's been quite unseasonably warm for October lately, so I haven't been able to do as much layering.

(I have a couple of more minimal outfits to post as well, but I'll put those in a separate post!)

1-3: I put this outfit together today with Angie's challenge in mind. It's super warm today (currently high 70's and humid) so I didn't want to wear anything too warm. I don't really mind the heat wave though, as it means more chances to wear my linen culottes! For the maximal effect with minimal warmth, I did double stripes (handknit cardigan and a simple striped tee) and double necklaces. The yellow buttons on the cardigan, the velvet laces on my oxfords, and the gold detailing on my bag contribute more maximal detailing.
(handknit cardigan, AT tee, Anthro culottes, Born oxfords, and MZ Wallace bag)

4-6: An outfit from last week that has some maximal detailing as well. Here I layered a handknit lace sweater over a printed tee, and also added a handknit, multicolored, beaded lace shawl for outdoors.
(handknit sweater and shawl, Anthro tee, Gap jeans, Born oxfords)
