A few hotel room snaps for you, featuring the VC ruched midi.... which traveled well, and I'm having a lot of fun finding new combos (business and casual life) to wear.

Pic 1 - with an AT blouse I bought two springs ago. I adore the pattern but it's not my favorite blouse, because it needs a cami underneath it, but if worn untucked like this, the cami looks awkward, because it has slits on either side. Either the cami shows on the sides, or looks obviously too short like here. Am I too nit picky? I wear this top tucked in way more often than out, because this detail bugs me so much. I tried half tucking but it didn't work. Full tuck -- also didn't work, not after a couple of days of travel bloat. Also, the top demonstrates why I dislike short sleeves: since I bought this, I gained a few pounds. I gain weight first in my upper body, including my arms & shoulders. Can you see it's a bit tight in the shoulders? It wasn't when I first bought it.

Pic 2 & 3 - with an AT mixed-media knit top I bought this past spring. I prefer this outfit. I prefer the longer sleeves, I prefer how it looks like a dress, but then there's a party in the back. The detailing on the neck and the back are beige. I've also worn this top a lot with white jeans, but I thought the black midi was a nice change up.

Kate Spade optic white bag, which can function as a cross body.

What my sister calls my "ugly" shoes, which are so incredibly comfortable for travel, I'm just going to ignore her on that one....
