Well, I backed out of the all-dress-week challenge. First of all, Monday was really chilly, so I wore pants. No pictures. However I was too hot, although happy they fit since I did manage to lose the few pounds gained over the hot lazy summer.

Tues, Wed, I wore dresses. Tues was a black knit shift with a little cropped cardi that came with it - got on sale very cheap last year. Comfortable. There is a lot of cocoa brown in the sweater, so I picked the mushroomy tights and brown oxfords, along with a bronzy metal necklace. I felt okay in this outfit - it was very easy to wear but not as dressed up as I would like to be in the "busy season" at work (lots of public traffic in the office.)

Wed. was my cobalt and black zebra dress, with the black Gibson jacket from Nordstroms. Since the tights were pretty warm the day before, I went bare-legged. Since this dress is too short, I felt a bit exposed. But I love the jacket. Very trim looking but easy to wear since it's knit.

Thurs. I just couldn't bring myself to wear another sleeveless dress, and I've been waiting to wear this Halogen skirt, along with a new chiffon blouse, and my favorite tan suede t-strap heels. I didn't have a previous version of the skirt, so don't know how it compares, but this was awfully nice to wear, fits well except the cut might be meant to go over a little tummy because it seemed to pooch out and emphasize mine, and very perfect length. Tempts me to buy more...

Today, no picture. I wore a black pencil skirt, black textured tights, red knit top and black/red floral print cardi. Very officey, and good for the weather - late fall sunny and mild.

So 2/5 of the week I wore dresses. Sorry for the challenge fail, but I did like what I wore this week.
