Happy Weekend to all!

A couple of weeks ago I posted a pair of boots I had ordered. They arrived, and there was no question I was keeping them. For those interested they are Nine West American Vintage range and I did get them on deep sale. The ankle is wide but I do have a lot of tolerance for the flower pot effect, but I feared they were too flower pottish but I was determined they were not going back:). I can't decide If they have more of a cowboy, or spaceman feel!

So first outing today, I wore them with an all black outfit (suprise). Leggings tucked into knee high black socks which I then scrunched down to the ankle to fill the gap. I'm happy with the look but maybe I am just seeing what I want to:).

There are two outfit variations here. You will see I changed toppers, purely because I decided I like the proportions with my sweater more. And I tried the boots with leggings tucked and then untucked...I was concerned the height of the boot shaft (?) might have been shortening. Anyway went with leggings tucked and oversized sweater.

#1 is with the long sleeve drape tee
#2 & 3 close up of the boots
#4 is with the sweater
#5 was more about photographing my hair!! (You're the only ones who understand lol)
#6 because this post is so monochromatic...bonus shot of my kitchen bench!

DH caught me Instagram-ing my boots while we were out today. Can I tell you there was quite a bit of eye rolling haha.

These will be for non work wear (I think). Most of my wardrobe tends to go to work and play but I don't mind having the odd thing that is work or weekend only.

Trying a new photo spot in the kitchen of all places. There is a window opposite the pantry door (which I'm standing against) so thought it was worth a try. As you can see I love black clothing, but I love white decor:)

Thanks for looking.and if you have other suggestions for styling the boots, I would love to hear them.
