WIW to an initial client meeting

This is my first WIW posting....
Got this dress on sale at anthropologie, and bought it too big. My awesome tailor fitted it to me, and now it feels great!
I never get too dressed up, but want to look polished for my client meetings.
Please critique....
(...there is a real art to taking your own photos, isn't there! Please dont look at my son's messy room...)

Love how you've styled it - the juxtaposition of polka dots and stripes, then cheeky denim jacket - perfect to my eye! Hope to see more of your style.

Welcome! You look terrific in this outfit -- I love the pattern mixing of dots and stripes and the cheeky denim jacket with the boots! I would wear this in a second.

It *is* a bit tricky to take photos, but it will get easier over time. Some of us enlist family members to take the shots, others have a tripod or use a table to set the camera on. It's a real art, figuring out the best way.

Welcome, Lori! (I've nev posted a pic, as I haven't found a good mirror/lighting and don't want to ask my hubby to take them.) Your outfit is cute! You don't say what you do, but you appear put together, creative, and easy to talk to, all good things for a first client meeting!

Welcome, Lori! You've styled this wonderful dress superbly. I only have one suggestion for "tweaking." Check the archives for the sleeve scrunch technique that Angie wears so beautifully. I think the jacket would look terrific with scrunched sleeves, as long as you're not too cold!

P.S. I use my phone for photos, too. I have an camera app that has a self timer, and I prop in up on my piano against a decorative box or use my music stand at work. I'd love to have a tripod!

I love the dress -- the styling is so fun and casual. I love how you changed what I feel is a polished dressed up dress and brought it down with a few accessories. (taking notes!) You look wonderful!

This is a great dress (I have a skirt like this) and you wear it beautifully. You look smart, professional and approachable. I take pics with my iphone too and use a self timer and tripod, it gets easier with practice. Look forward to seeing more of your outfits.
