A friend threw a Mad Men themed cocktail party about 10 days ago, and asked the guests to go for as glamorous of an outfit as possible that fits with the theme. This was my take on it. I wish I had long black satin gloves to complete the whole thing, so those go on my wish list. Btw, you can see a peak of my black lace sequined bra and that is done on purpose. I know that is not everyone’s cup of tea, so no worries. I was kind of inspired by Dolce & Gabbana’s cocktail dresses which often have this design element built in.
Outfit: hot pink satin cocktail dress – Xscape, black satin strappy sandals – BCBG, pearl/ribbon necklace – J Crew, pearl charm bracelet – Juicy Couture, black feather hair flower - ? (It was in my ballroom accessory collection).
