W.I.W. this week with Angie's inspiration.

Hi Ladies,
it has been a strange few days for me!
My car was broken into on Sunday- a very unsettling feeling!
I had a summer dress on the front seat in a shopping bag ready to take to a new dress-maker to have the hem altered. Ran out of time to drop it off and it was stolen with all my CDs, my torch and even my hand-cream.
Today I travelled into the city for a Fashion-Week workshop but the program was changed and I had the wrong day!
Pic # 1 Animal print tunic with new thrifted denim biker-style jacket.
Pic #2, 3 White shirt with B.F. jeans and comfy walking shoes. (Skechers)
Pic#4 New Zensu moccasin-style shoes purchased today- I am trying to only buy good-quality shoes that I can actually walk in because I love to walk but still want to look stylish.

Love both of these though it's a little hard to see the proportions with the photo angle. OMG, your car?! That feels so violating - I'm so sorry this happened to you.

Lyn that is terrible about your car! And they took your dress grrrr. But you are looking "awesome" as my 9 year old would say:) Is that the animal print tunic from Target? I imagine you will get good wear out of it. And you really have nailed the BF jeans look. The Zensu shoes look lovely. Great brand and they do quite interesting styles.

Sorry about the Fashion Week Workshop. I spoke to my DH the other night about planning for next week and actually spending the week in Melbourne next year for Fashion Week and attending what I can. Join me?

I love the outfits. It seems to me that Angie usually wears a white button front that is made with a fabric that has more body. I think the look translates beautifully with the shirt that has more drape and is a way for those of us that can't seem to pull off the stiffer fabric a way to play with the look. Very nice.

My car was broken into years ago. They smashed out a window to get to my things. I started leaving the car unlocked and nothing in it for a few years to avoid paying the deductible on the insurance. I lock again now. It is unfortunate that these things happen.

I am not sure where to start ....I am so sorry for what happened. It is just so bizarre to me that people would take things like that. Though I think that they just grab at anything.

So sorry to hear about your car! That happened to me once and it does make you feel kind of violated? People take the weirdest things too. When i worked in a music store i had a customer come in once who had his car broken into and all the thief took were his Pink Floyd cds. O.o they left all the other cds and everything else.

You look great though. I like outfit #1 as i'm a big fan of leopard print.

Oh, that's terrible! I'm so sorry that happened to you.You're going to have to start putting your pretties in the trunk (boot) because you obviously have good taste. Keep an eye out for women wearing that dress!
