What I wore this week. Open for suggestions and honest criticisms. I see my formula repeated (my office is always cold so I must wear a cardi or jacket)
On Tuesday I was happy to see the rain and the drop in temps to 65. (sorry picture not better but the Bday girl wanted in of course)
1. JCrew navy skirt , LL Bean Signature Plaid Tunic, Ralph Lauren Navy patent belt, Opaque (enough?) tights, navy patent/suede Clarks pumps, Red Amber Sun boyfriend sweater
On Wednesday, still raining and 70s
2. Lily Floral knit dress (I know it's kind of granny/schoolmarm, but it's SOOO comfortable), Black Ralph Lauren belt, Shade tank, Purple Halogen Cardigan, tights (super opaque) and heeled fringe loafers. Does this work or am I just kidding myself that it's stylish?
Thursday - more rain (not so excited anymore - tried some animal print combo) and some pant length violations
3. Brooks Brothers (outlet) blazer, red Shade Tee, Inspired Ocelot print blouse, Halogen cropped pants, Me Too patent kitten heel pumps, Talbots Necklace (I tried my big bubble pearls and felt a little too Wilma Flinstone)
Came home to flooded basement - sparing you that outfit (wellies, sweatpants and anger)
4. Had to go in to work despite soaked basement (looking like I hadn't slept - I hadn't much) My attempt at cropped over long - too sloppy?
Kut Jeans (I realize they are too short for these shoes - my tribute to flood???) My rocking Doc Martens, Halogen blazer, white Max & Clare top, silver pendant
Also did not include more pictures of me sweating in my rain boots and gear. No professional help until tomorrow so likely the carpet is a goner and I'll be SYC to redo basement flooring.
Thanks for looking.
