Guess I seem to be a little more confident than I realized. A lot of these are things I found in my closet and dusted off as I now have a better idea on how to wear them Oh, and to keep this from being pic heavy, I have all my accessories listed over here:

#1- Wednesday -- I really wish I had more wallet chains. Seriously.

#2- Thursday -- According to my friend, I should just tuck this shirt over the buckle if I want to show it off instead of tucking the whole thing in. Thoughts?

#3/4- Friday -- I wore this going out with coworkers for a birthday... thing. I actually bought the waistcoat on my way home from work and wore it the same day. It's a bit long in the strap, but fits everywhere else. And the back is awesome. This is probably my favorite outfit out of all of them.

#5- Saturday -- My friend told me to pose differently. So I did.

Hey, I should get a wallet chain! I agree, it's a fun detail for a casual look. The first shirt really fits well and I dig the last vest, very cool. Re the belt, a lot of gals on here are big fans of the "semi-tuck" (I am not, honestly). Can I be honest? I don't think the dolman sleeves on the striped top flatter you that much. They over-emphasize your shoulders and make you look top-heavy, which you don't look in the rest of the pics.

Thanks everyone I honestly think coming on here was what managed to get me to step out the door wearing what I am.

Yes, Laura (is that right?), the chain I'm wearing is a bit long (I actually caught my foot in it before- never mind) but I love it to death. As to the striped shirt, I was starting to wonder about that myself. I think I didn't notice when at the store- or even later that same day because I THINK I was wearing flares at the time. I'll also admit I bought the shirt because I loved the sleeve length and neckline. I don't know, could flares be a decent balance for the shirt in this case? Should it forever be worn under a jacket? I really don't want to give up on it, especially not yet as this was literally its first time out.

#3 and 5 are my favorites, but I don't think the dolman sleeves on the striped top are a deal breaker. It's a popular look right now. Another thought...have you tried that striped top with the vest in #3?

Joy, that vest is probably the first thing I'd reach for Haven't really had a chance to do much with the shirt yet, though I think maybe leaving it untucked would work as well. And maybe steering clear of the skinnies. Hmmm...

#s 3 and 5 are so cute! And I love your hat! (also those colorful sneakers.) I think that the dolman top, along with the horizontal stripes, is a really difficult combination to pull off for most people. I definitely think that you should try the top with a flared jean and stay clear of the skinnies. Thanks for posting!

Ditto on the great #3 and 5 outfits. LOVE the red tennies, just so cute. And the striped top has great potential. Try it with something else and make a success story out of it. A smoky blue scarf? Or a colored belt, though the skull one is very cool.

I like the idea of trying the striped top with flares. I tend to avoid dolman sleeves myself because of the same problem, but sometimes you just have to wear what makes you happy even if it isn't 'ideal'. I think it's the combination of the horizontal stripe and the dolman sleeve that makes it look very 'shoulder-y'.
