When Angie posted in the comments section today on her Power of Classic Wardrobe Items and mentioned she was wearing a black turtleneck, wool trousers and an animal print belt, I thought "I can do that" and proceeded to wear something close to that when I did my afternoon chores and errands.
I haven't worn these Thalian pants, from Nordstrom, in years and I probably should have bought a Petite, if they'd been available and I knew more about myself, but the lines of the pants are good and they are comfortable. The knit top is really a tunic from Zara, so there was some extra material stuffed in below the waistline. The shoes I wore for the day were my Aerosoles patent leather mules rather than the Born booties that I also show. The animal print belt really added to the outfit and it is all because Angie simply stated what she was wearing today and I thought I'd give it a try. When she said: "At the end of the day my style is Modern, Urban, Polished and Simple," I thought, so, that's what she is! A MUPS! Love it.
