WIW: outerwear edition!
I'm not normally a fan of Desigual. Their kaleidoscopic floral prints make my eyes water, although for those who love to deploy colour and pattern with wild abandon, I can see the appeal. However, this coat is an exception. It's right up my alley. It is always a hit; it has even inspired comments from random homeless guys on the street. It's black on black; the floral pattern is sort of velvety, while the background has a smoother finish. In the illustration, it looks kind of gray, but really it's black.
Also, this is my first pair of fingerless gloves, and I've decided they are the best invention ever, at least for my relatively mild climate. Perfect for the winter days when it's cold enough that the steering wheel numbs your hands, and you don't have to yank them off to operate the iPhone.
