WIW: spring casuals and GO ALL BLACKS

It is the Rugby World Cup Final this weekend, and the All Blacks and the Wallabies are in the final (NZ and Australia). My son is having a black out day at school so I joined him wearing black. I wonder if our Australian forum members are so supportive in green and gold- ha ha, not so easy!!

I also added in two casual looks. One in a seldom worn striped knit cardigan, to play with my preschool nieces and nephews. I like the green colour but never wear it as a cardigan any more, only this way.

Secondly a casual look mixing up some seen before pieces. Wearing my Secret Santa pendant from 2014! I liked this look, and I will repeat.

That's all, crazy week here, with some interesting lessons about difficult people.

Oh yes, and Go All Blacks.

ETA could I get one of myself and DS that I liked - no - dislike the first pic of me but he was losing patience by the time I got one of me that I liked.

Ha ha! That's quite a challenge.
No 5 looks great! Now if you added a yellow scarf you would be having a bet both ways! I really like no 4 too and how you have tucked the top/cardi. The lighter belt looks great. It is a very flattering look on you.
Now I am thinking about the green and gold thing. I don't have one gold or yellow piece in my wardrobe (not counting gold jewellery). Inspired by you I just dyed a top green so I do have that! Will have to ponder this some more...
Are you staying up to watch the game? I am thinking about it. Even just to watch the haka at the start. It is always so thrilling.

Looks like easy team colors to sport for you there. I am happy that my local sport teams I root for also have favorable colors (baseball is teal/navy/white, and football is navy/green).

Brooklyn - I will NOT be wearing a yellow scarf with my green thank you. The game here is 5am so I suspect I will be watching it in my nightwear....always so close and both great teams. I love the haka - DH thinks it is a little thrashed.

Aida - thanks, it is great when your team wears flattering/pleasant colours. I don't have any official team wear (one of my sons does) but I have plenty of black I can pull out. I have worn the jacket three or four different ways, it has been great. So much better than optic white on me!

Gingko - haha yes Air NZ pride themselves on their safety videos being funny. I do pay attention!!

Thanks Shevia, Dee and Meredith - I do suit green and need to wear more of it. Thank goodness there is a bit around this year (unlike red which there is none of here!!) But I won't wear much green this weekend
