5) Team Wear: My new Victorian-style lace-front shirt (Etsy)(it came in the mail yesterday!)
6 & 7) Styled for work
Tweed vest (Express, via eBay. What you can't see is my favourite detail: a black lace racer back!)
Levi 505 dark wash jeans
Black belt (Gap)
Seychelle Lucky Penny ankle boots, Pewter (Zappos)(also new - came over the weekend. Whee!)

6 & 7 are a bit of a departure, and I feel a bit like a saloon girl, in a very tough kinda way. I am pleased! Huzzah!

Love those cut out booties in 1 but the Victorian lace front blouse & vest have won my heart. Would love to see it with a pencil skirt & the cut out boos.

These are great outfits but mostly I wanted to tell you that we love Toubab Krewe! We saw them here when my son was 3 and it's what got him playing drums and percussion. Superfab!

Oh, and I wanted to say in reply to your earlier post that I am a novice pillion passenger on DH's Honda Shadow.
Very terrifying.
I've only been on 3 short trips, around 55kms in total, and I'm not sure I'll be making it a regular thing.
I wore my steel capped work boots but my knees felt so vulnerable clad only in denim.
DH wears Kevlar.

Thanks, ladies! The lace is a bit scary for me, but I'm pleased with it, overall.

Lantana - I love riding, and once got plenty of gear, including armoured kevlar jeans. I'm pretty gutted to have to replace my boots, as I've had them for ages and they were a gift from my Dad. But after our ride Sunday, I realised there are gouges in the leather at the toe, and one sole has split under the back of my foot (haven't worn them in poor weather in a while to notice).

Love the victoriana! Or maybe Klondike Annie, LOL. Seriously, seeing the fun you have with your clothes makes me smile. We both have a theatrical bent, but mine is closeted most of the time--like it's at an AA meeting--while yours is brash and confident!

Mochi, that's interesting that you say "Klondike Annie," as I felt vaguely saloon-y. Ha! I think it's the vest over the lace. It's also interesting to you me that you use "theatrical" as a descriptor - I've said it before, I just don't think of anything I wear as being particularly interesting, overall.

I love the victorian blouse in #5, 6 and 7! I love those type of blouses but they don't love me back. I can never seem to style them to seem "me" and always end up passing them on (usually to my sister where I can still see it and be envious that it looks so good on her).
