After your feedback on the forum, I wanted to change the hem again. When I let out the hem, I decided I liked the cut length. I also wanted a little more taper at the bottom of the leg. So I took a dart at the hem. And to preserve the cut length, I bound the hem with a 3/8" binding.
I wore them today as styled in 1, with flats, tee, and scarf.
I think the alteration worked. What do you think?
1: slouch pants with newly altered hem, worn with metallic flats
2-3: pants with heeled oxfords (Fidji)
4: bonus Fidjis photo, with boyfriend jeans (Eddie Bauer)
5: bound hem on pants
