Debbie was SO sweet to send this New Look (brand new) skirt to me! As she cautioned, it fits small, but I figured that if it looked too tight, I could wear longer tops over it - something I enjoy. Well it turns out, the thing fits like spanx - I'm pretty sure It took a full size off of my hips! After my husband's encouragement that it was "tight but not indecent" I decided to wear it today with a shorter (Antrhopologie) top and go against my nature of hiding the thighs. I rather enjoyed it, although I may opt for wearing it with longer tops on a more regular basis. I'm sorry that the photos aren't great - I couldn't torture my poor tired husband at the end of his long day with lighting, open eyes and wrinkling (did my top look like that all day from the back?!).
In keeping with my love of sentimental jewelry, the glass mushroom pendant is from my only trip to Seattle years ago (Pike's Place Market) to see a friend of ours who has since passed away...
