WIW: Sharp-shouldered blazer with deconstructed tails, ALGO?

Hey all,

I've had this funky jacket for awhile and have puzzled on how to best wear it to work. I decided to throw something together that was overall not too crazy But then I realized there's a lot going on stylewise:
- jacket is a bit avant garde
- pants are casual (GAP jeggings)
- top is classic (Classiques Entier cowl)
- necklace is somewhat boho
- watch is sporty
- moto boots are urban

Not sure the style mix is very evident, since the colors are all rather muted. But suggestions on how to style the jacket very welcome! Thanks for your help

That jacket is beyond COOL and I really like how you have it styled here with the jeggings, boots and long pendant. This look is definitely urban and has a slight UWP influence I think. I love this look!

Such a cool jacket! I love it and I love how you've styled it with the different style elements - it's subtle but interesting.

I'd love to see what the jacket looks like closed too.

I would style it with a light colored blouse (not a really classic buttoned up style, maybe something with a little bit of a victorian vibe like allsaints), skinny pants, and lace-up boots.

Very very edgy look! It doesn't need a lot colour contrast etc, in my opinion --- this way the impact of the jacket hits you hard, but really slowly. Less 'stunning' and more 'lasting impression'!

I love this outfit! Not TMGO at all in my opinion! I like the idea of a light colored blouse with this jacket!

FANTASTIC jacket! I do think this particular pendant is a teensy bit dischordant because of the boho-ness, but everything else is 100% fab. A light or bright colored blouse a la MaryK would look great, too, because the color of the jacket is muted. Hope to see more of this baby!

I really like it! That outfit can be changed out with different blouses and maybe scarves (I know...I really LIKE scarves) and you can just wear that jacket SO many ways. It looks great on you.

I love this jacket and really like that you styled it so it is the hero of the outfit! I'm liking the way the pendant is the only other real point of focus, but I might agree with Rae about the vibe being too different than the edgy jacket. (But that's rather a minor nitpick because the jacket is SO fab

Not too much going on at all...in fact, I think it's a brilliant mix. I also like Diana's suggestion of a lighter-colored top for variety.

Una -- yeah I love the back too! I'm wondering when I wore it to work how many people actually noticed the back, since from the front it looks like a fairly normal blazer.
