I need to say this might end up like post-and-run, please accept my apologies in advance. I'm managing even not to sleep enough these days and it takes its toll. I'm not complaining, things with the house are slowly falling into place and although far from fluent but more confident each day with the language (my conversation partners take longer and longer to figure out I don't speak their language well :-D), -- but, I can only say -- Bring on the Xmas holidays, we're visiting friends back in England and I know I'll relax and enjoy
The outfits. Apart from the first one all feature my lovely Santa Suz's gift. (Lovely Suz and lovely gift, that is.) It actually has two sides - one is a silver circular pendant, but on the other side of it there is another circle in back colour and I can basically wear both sides. I have tried just some of the ideas to wear it.
No closeups for now, but I promise to show it to you on another occasion.
Also, wearing hats in winter create the split bangs which I'm not crazy about at all, and since I went for a trim I thought I might try to work around that and sport choppier bangs for a few weeks as an experiment (photo #5).
What I wore:
- Just regular school-run outfit, worn under the jacket. But, chambray shirt in action.
- Casual dinner at my friend's house, informal but I thought I should dress up a bit. I like how the pendant filled the neckline which somehow appeared empty once the cardigan was layered over the dress.
- Another school-run outfit, the pendant worn on low-contrast background.
- Classroom outfit, the pendant worn on high-contrast background.
- Worn to the classes as well, familiar base outfit from recent WIWs but with different accessory to add interest.
Thanks for your time. I always look forward to your constructive comments and suggestions -- I read them all :-).
