WIW: (r)Eject shoes attracting guys...

Confession: These Eject sandals, which were rejected by the forum due to lack of toe-viewability, came on supersale on Amazon. I bought them and hoarded them for summer. Today I wore them out with an old ON t and these Hudson lookalike boyfriend shorts from Penneys a couple of years ago that are a turmeric color. The shoes are comfy enough that I wore them to run errands, despite the height.

Well, I got nicely asked for my phone number by two normal-seeming guys - one at the grocery store and one at the Mexican take-out place. I don't wear my wedding ring (it's on my climbing harness) but have never had it be an issue before. I actually thought this outfit was somewhat man-repelling (skull necklace, baggy britches) but apparently 4 inch heels, even of the chunky platform variety, are a draw.

I was against the shoes the first time round because your toes are supposed to "peep through" in peep toes. We can't see your toes at the end of the shoe in this style because the opening is too narrow for your feet. So because of bad fit - I voted nay.

But I do love the colour combination of this outfit! The orange is gorgeous with the blue! I love the baggy fit of the shorts and the looseness of the outfit, which at the same time achieves just enough structure.

How can an outfit with so much sassy and lovely leg be man-repelling. On the contrary

Angie, thanks you! I do understand the toe-view issue! My feet don't do well with small openings as they are too wide, but I couldn't resist the shoes at the price, and the opening seems to be stretching a bit, so perhaps toes will make an appearance.

The colors are actually a deep yellow-orange and the top is heather grey. My camera stinks.

Yessss, just throw there a bone(4"heels) for the normal seeming guys in the groceries and take out places Una, they don't hurt:-)). But always have your wedding ring with you when hiking. It's more important to repell men when me time, or accomplishing some goals. YLF!:-)
