Hello again in a short space of time, the buzz of participating in the Picture Perfect challenge had given me the final nudge to sort out through my photos and critically look at myself and show you where things are heading style-wise for me.

I've obviously abandoned the whole concept of themed weeks at the moment, although the ideas are brewing in my head and some will hopefully materialize sometime soon. Essentially, this is a melting pot style of post with everything thrown in - last days in the office outfits, running errands outfits and MOTG+final sightseeings outfits.

The excitement of the prospect of living in the climate where I'll actually have a summer again had been enhanced further by the fact I could actually prepare for it. I've bought some skirts which will be a sure winners this summer; some dresses that tick all the boxes in terms of style and colors; and some items that are simply different, therefore fun. However, those are yet to be worn and posted here.

In a nutshell: skinnies are my best friend, I've padded a bit my cardigans collection, jackets I adore, scarves even more, and chambray shirt is a real discovery.

Thank you Angie and the whole YLF sisterhood for showing me that classic does not mean boring, practical does not mean predictable and comfortable does not mean frumpy.

Now, off to why we're here...

Casual: 01-03
Layering with cardigans using the chambray shirt and the scarves to add interest; wearing my 'impossible' colors like orange under the shirt and far away from my face; road-testing denim skirt.

Running errands: 04-06
The first outfit is what I wore to meet our solicitor to kick-off the house sale paperwork. I deliberately wear red when in tricky or potentially stressful situations lately.

Office: 07-09
Random selection of what I wore to the office in the last few days. BB button-down simply rocks my world!

Evening out: 10
...with the girls and making the most of the colorful, woolen skirt.

Sightseeing: 11-12
Had to add these, taken by my son, getting dressed was a breeze and on those days we had so much fun.

Bonus (The "set"): 13
This is where it was all happening, my kitchen as photographed for the sale brochure. Saying "good bye" to it I guess...

Thanks for looking and please feel free to steer me in the right direction as the world of casual outfits is pretty new to me...
