It was finally cool enough to wear this thrifted BCBGMaxAzria wrap dress. Then the sun went down and the wind picked up and I FROZE walking around the campus. Feast or famine.

I realize the photo angle make the dress look a bit HAZMAT (hazerdously maternity), but it's more fitted IRL. Are the colors in the dress a little too saturated for my grey hair?
Do the nude sandals look like barefeet with all the dark colors on top? I tried leopard flats but felt like I needed a tiny heel at least.

My 15 yr-old daughter is not crazy about the print on the dress, she hates the sandals, but wants to steal the jacket. All in all, she is happy with my "Mom" style and is grateful that I do not sqeeze into her clothes.....even though I can. She has a style all her own and I try not to step on it.

Claire this is really lovely on you. The nude sandals are perfect and tie in nicely with what appears to be a nude tone in the dress. The colors of the dress suit you beautifully. And I LOVE your denim jacket. Where did you get it? I like the no collar look :). Don't change a thing, it's perfect.

I like everything about this outfit, Claire. "Hazmat" lol! You have one of those figures (long & lean) where you can wear volume and it looks stylish. I love the nude sandals. And am very happy to hear you were cold for the first time!

I like it - the print on the dress is gorgeous (and I am Mrs Picky about Prints), lovely blend of colours, and it looks great with the denim jacket.

The HAZMAT comment made me laugh!

Everything looks great. I find that one of the joys of having grey hair is that you can surrender the waist and no one will think that you are pregnant.

I think the outfit looks great. The nude shoes emphasize your beautiful tan legs, the bag pulls a pop of color out of the dress print and the jacket is a perfect casual topper. Couldn't be cuter, and looks good with your hair.

Thanks guys! I was driving in the car composing this post in my head when "hazmat" came to me. (Does anyone else do this?)I thought it was hilarious and had to share.

Deborah, I so often thrift things, but for once I bought this jacket new last week so I'm happy to tell you it came from Old Navy and it was marked $39.00 but rung up at $29.00 (YAY). Suz was able to find it on their website and order one online.
