WIW over the holidays and my cable knit interpretation

HAven't posted a WIW in a while. So here goes:

1 Christmas eve mass and dinner with family:
really old red and black Houndstooth cape with belt from Long Tall Sally
Olsen black stretch denim pants
Boots from shoedazzle - Heaven help me

2, 3, 4 Taking the kids to see Rise of The Guardians:
Olsen sweater with cables horizontally across the sides and a dropped shoulder. Alpaca blend (super warm)
Jeans from LTS
Duck boots!
Co-lab bag with faux rabbit from last winter - still love the look.

Essie "repstyle" magnetic nailpolish (DIY so not perfect but good enough for casual holidays - I am back to work Dec 29)

I love how you have styled the cape -- then again I am always a fan of a cinched waist. The nail polish is too cute! I always wondered what it would look like on "real" people. (note to self to try it out.) I love your gray sweater and surprisingly your "duck" boots too. Maybe I'd never found a color/texture I liked. All are simply cute -- you look polished and pulled together.

Wow, that is an amazing bag!! It could double so well for a cozy pillow if you got stuck someplace and needed a nap. I just want to reach out and stroke it!

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am always chilly in movie theatres so I was actually OK. But while shovelling I overheated pretty fast (had a parka on as well).

I love both of these outfits Nicole. That wrap looks so good belted like that (I have to remember that for when I don't want mine flying around). I love your duck boots and fur bag as well. You are almost making me miss a real winter with all of the wonderful texture and coziness! You look fab!

Great outfits both. I love your cozy cardi and duck boots in the later pictures. And your nail art -- WOW -- I generally don't go for nail art or polish but yours are truly artistic. I'd hire you in a heart beat.
