I'm finally getting around to posting the pictures I took while I was in Oregon visiting my parents with my sister. They have a mirrored closet so I was able to take my own pictures, but only had a small amount of room to do it because the bed was in the way! lol Plus, I was using my cell phone, so the pictures aren't that great, but I thought I'd post them anyway. Comments and suggestions are always welcome!

My favorite outfit to wear was #5. I wore it home and got random compliments from Security and Custom agents at the airports, which was surprising. I have to say that I love wearing Converse, too. I think they may be my new favorite shoes (and I have alot of shoes)...

ETA: Sorry, the pictures are sideways!! I don't know how to switch them, maybe after my DH gets home I can fix them.

Great week! I like 2, 4, and 5. The Cons with the dress pants in 5 is unexpected but cute! Where did you get that necklace?

@AJ, Thanks, those are my favorite, too. I think I got the necklace at Rue21 quite awhile ago. It's been surprisingly useful. I wish I could find something else similar, but different that I liked as much!

Cons with pearls! Who knew?! What a great cheeky idea, Jem --- no wonder people were falling over themselves to compliment you.

#1 and #2 also look so sophisticated. I love that blouse in the first photo. The navy shoes with grey pants is so smart in the second, but I particularly love the way you take the usual combination of printed blouse+solid cardi, and then flip them around! You evidently know your colours well too. Very nice!

You truly have an eye for selecting colours which are very flattering for you. I am so impressed as it is something I struggle with. I just have to second ManidipaM and say I also love the idea of the Cons with the pearls. What a fun thing to do!

Thanksganicebal, Mandi, and Katie! I can't take credit for the pearl, cons and blazer idea. It's just a variation of one of Angie's MOTG formulas. I would have never thought of it myself! I never even thought of buying Converse before coming here. It's turning into one of my favorite outfits, though. You should try it!
