WIW on day off - cargo skinnies

Here's what I'm wearing today. I don't have to work, and am just doing errands with my son and then we're heading up to SO's house for the weekend.

Cargo skinnies from BR -- pardon the shot of my derriere, just showing that I had the flaps sewn shut and pocket linings removed. These were billed as leggings and were in a capri length, so I went up one size and voila: regular cargo skinnies.

Everybody "Emerald" sandals (yes, I exchanged that ones that had a scratch in the leather of the footbed.)

I'm on team riveting rearviews so I appreciate seeing both front and rear views :-). In fact, I *almost* took a pic of a lady in the grocery store the other day to present as evidence why we always need to check our rear views... but I didn't quite have the nerve

Great idea to have the flaps sewn shut and liners removed. I've done it to front pockets, but hadn't even thought about the back!

How do those shoes run? Angie said that the other style of this brand was very narrow. How about these? I can't tell from the reviews online. I am tempted by the reviews of the butter soft leather but I am worried about the width.

The Everybody line uses Euro sizing, which I don't like because some sites say a 38 is a size 7 (my size) while others say it's an 8. (I think in reality it's a 7.5.) I got these in a 37.5, which is either a 7 or a 7.5, depending on whom you believe, and the width was fine. I think the Emeralds run wider than the ones Angie has.

The leather is absolutely buttery soft and feels wonderful, even on my more problematic foot.

I have missed your outfits, Captain of Team Neutral! You were made for those cargo pocket skinnies. Good grief! I LOVE flat little sandals with this look. It's edgy and unpredictable.

You look great! I tried those same cargoes from BR...they look sooo much better on you! My hips didn't like them at all. Perfectly flattering on you! I love those sandals too. If I didn't already have like 5 pairs of sandals for our short 60 degree summers, I'd have to try them.

Yay April! Here's hoping we get to see lots more WIWs from you now that it's summer :). I love the skinnies on you--so clever to size up. I ordered these online, in black and in my regular size, looking for some slouchy-yet-slim-fitting pants, and got leggings with pockets! It didn't occur to me to size up, plus the rise was too low for me, but you look splendid in them.

Great move to fix the rear of the cargos! I've often thought ot it, but get so lazy. It makes for a nice smooth look (and I hope that doesn't sound creepy or anything. . . ) 'cuz there's nothing that bugs me more than askew pocket flaps!
