WIW: Old Dress & New Handbag - YouLookFab Forum

I'm going on three years with this abstract print wrap dress and there is no sign our relationship is going to end anytime soon. This dress has been worn a lot and there is no pilling, no stretching, no fading...I wish every item I bought could be this reliable.Shout out to Jay Manuel's line - everything I've bought of his has stood the test of time!

I've paired the dress with my medium wash denim jacket in place of a blazer, a dark purple belt to accent my waist, and black micro fishnets. For footwear, I'm wearing my black wedge booties (haven't worn these in a while!). It's the debut of my new-through-consignment Christopher Kon black lamb leather handbag. I'm in LOVE! The simple shape and the gold hardware make me smile. For jewelry, I've added my new-through-consignment grey & silver bangle. On top of everything when I head out the door is my silver trench.

Does this work? Colours and proportions all play well together? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome.

It is so great to have pieces that we love and can count on. Such and easy silhouette, adding jean jacket to dress and booties, but packs a punch and looks wonderful.

Ramya - the temperatures here have been really good (at least for my city!). We're around +10C during the daytime so I can't complain. How about you?

Miss Toe is doing very well thanks to the antibiotics. In fact yesterday I was able to go to the gym in my proper running shoes. Thanks for asking!

Love the outfit and the new bag! I am searching for a new fall bag-and just saw one similar but neutral beige(like to make a contrast with my black or darker coats), and just wondered if this slounchy style is still in? I like the texturred and softer leather and zippers, too:-)
