Dear fabbers,
Firstly, I wish you and your families every sort of good in 2014 <3
Once again I find myself familiarly confused by "where do I even start catching up with?" after only 2-3 weeks of absence. Until I figure it out, or try to, I'm sharing a few outfits from this week.
All featuring one single formula - ponte pencil skirt + simple top (mostly turtleneck). I was very lucky to score some great pieces during my recent visit to England. I desperately needed new skinnies I wanted to buy two pairs, which I did after several on-line orders and high returns rate. Visiting familiar brands which stock TALL clothing had paid off in other respects too - I finally found the red pencil skirt. The perfect ponte pencil skirt in my favourite shade of red, ideal for my current wardrobe and easy to cycle in.
I bought three other skirts too, the striped one from this post and others which will come in later posts. And I found wide striped sweater. And I bought a pretty, simple navy dress which will work great for my summers.
All in all, shopping with clear idea of what I needed resulted with both great finds and spending reasonably little money in the process. Best of all, because all these are replacements or upgrades or wardrobe-hole-fillers, I don't predict for any of them to be unworn, but to become true workhorses. I really love the stuff I purchased, but I am exceptionally happy with the striped skirt from the third outfit shown - the fact it is so long is makes it extra precious in my wardrobe.
Thanks for reading and as always I'd like to hear your thoughts
