WiW, new boots, & thrifted skirt

WiW earlier this month, just now getting to posting. Talk to me about PPL with skinnies. I've been messing with different lengths. I prefer them a bit longer than this picture.

I've been wanting riding style boots for a long time. Reading ylf finally prompted me to buy some. I hadn't noticed the scrunch around the ankle until this photo.

The skirt I found when thrifting the other day. I'm wondering it's too short?

Wow love the first outfit, yes perhaps needs to be a bit longer. The boots are fab mine scrunch round the ankle too the pair i got which don't scrunch i can barely walk in and certainly couldn't drive in x

chelle did you buy the ponte knit pants last fall, or this spring? It seems to me last fall we couldn't find them long enough to scrunch but this spring they are coming out with some longer ones. You can look online at nordstroms.com to womens jeggings and see that they are selling some that scrunch now. That's the only way I personaly would wear them with flats. If they are shorter I would tuck them in boots. I'm making up my own rules hear so certainly I am not saying what Angie's rules are and I haven't heard what they are yet.
On the scrunch at the ankle of the boots, I think they all do that. They look good. I love the outfit.

Cute outfits! I do think the skirt is a little short, but I like it a lot. It probably depends on where you wear it. I might wear it out to see a band, but I wouldn't wear it to work that short. Do you sew? Maybe you could add a contrasting trim or something for a few more inches. I like your boots and the scrunch isn't noticeable.

The black pants are actually a denim. And, they are rolled under in the picture. I was just messing with length. I wear them longer, but wasn't sure what the proper pant length was for skinnies.

[The ylf influence has me looking at what everyone wears now. I'm constantly checking out pant lengths and fit and style on everyone plus myself.]

I love both outfits. I especially love the skirt outfit actually. The skirt is a little short- but I would say short enough to be a tad sassy, but not short enough to be inappropriate.
so, if you're comfortable with being sassy, I say wear it I would.
