As mentioned in Jeanne's thread, the recent Olympic Games would have been the perfect theme for compiling a set of weekly outfits the way I used to do it, but one has to take into account the lifestyle and at the moment I don't need to pre-plan things the way I used to and certainly not for one whole week.

But, I did think of one outfit during the Olympics, based on the colors from the flag and gold, and finally had the opportunity to wear it.

Occasion: went to meet my husband's co-worker and his family originally from Iowa who have moved to Germany around the same time as us - I cannot even begin to describe how wonderful it felt talking to someone who's going through the same sort of life transition like we do. Who knows, maybe this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship...

But, back to the outfit - here come the white pants again and I paired them with the blue top that has run-ray pleated sleeves. Also, this is my first - I have tried semi-tuck.
And although I did have R/W/B with gold in mind, adding red felt a bit too much, so I opted for the gold only - my 'ancient Greek' necklace, the perfect olympic association, (I call it that as the swirls remind me of the Ionic columns) and the yellow handbag.
I kept the bottom of the outfit simple as the the ALGO quotient in the top part was quite high, so I wore white flats.

Thanks for looking, as always I'm happy to hear your ideas for improvements.
