WIW: my old FFBO formula inspired by Angie's pin

Today it is raining quite a bit, which calls for waterproof boots. I went with my old trusted winter formula of sweaterdress+skinnies+tall boots. This particular version was inspired by Angie's pin from Victoria Beckham's line (#1).
I keep thinking of removing the embellishment from the sweater dress. What do you think, leave it as it is or get rid of it?

What would you remove? Just the buttons? If the pockets/buttons were making you look bottom heavy I would think you should remove them but I don't think you could look bottom heaving if you tried! I like it just like it is and think this is a perfect FFBO for a rainy day.

Oh, I was thinking of removing all the sparkly stuff from the front of the dress near the collar, not the pockets. I quite like those pockets. I do like the embellishment too, was just thinking that the dress would be more versatile without it.

Oops! I didn't even see the sparkly stuff! I was so overtaken I guess. It would be more versatile without but it sure adds an element of fun!

I kind of like the built-in necklace on the front, the patch. And I usually have an embellishment poison-eye but this one is well-executed. Maybe remove the buttons from the pockets for a little less?

I think the embellishment helps to balance the hip pockets. It could be difficult to remove the embellishment without damaging the knit of the dress.

Absolutely perfect Tanya. One of my favourites posted lately on the forum - so sleek, pulled together, yet casual and comfortable. I wish I could recreate this look somehow. I adore those pockets on the dress.

I'd say remove the embellishment at some point definitely, when you truly tire of it - the dress will loose nothing of its character.
