Picked up my new glasses last night and love them! I like the size, the slight cat’s eye shape, the geek chic quality, the black and white colour mix and the tiny bit of bling. This is a petite line and I can honestly say I have never had glasses fit as comfortably as these – they even have a narrower bridge for the petite size. I hope they meet with YLF approval!
I have dressed today in black and white as an ode to my new glasses, but still worked on following Shannon’s Rubric (I love that Rae!).
Structure: the strong shouldered pinstripe menswear/military style blazer
Colour: the red purse and red lipstick
Vintage: the two-toned oxfords
Rugged: the two-toned oxfords because they are chunky and to a lesser degree, the blazer because it’s masculine
Does this work? How are the proportions? As always, all comments/suggestions welcome!
