WIW: My Favourite Colour

I must restrain myself from buying tops (or clothes for that matter) in cobalt blue. It is my all time favourite colour, but I worry about too much duplication. But this Helmut Lang blouse called to me, I love fluid shapes like this. And it has side panels in a different material that help to make it more flattering.

Paired it with Rag and Bone jeans with a leather detail in an arrow shape and Rag and Bone boots. These boots are freakishly comfortable considering the 3.5" heel. I've walked miles in them!

It is a bright sunny day here today (albeit cold) and I'm about to head out for the afternoon. Would love to hear any comments or critiques. Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

That color does look gorgeous on you... Sigh... It's my favorite color too and I have to point myself away from hit because I gravitate right towards it. The outfit looks fab! I love the look! I must copy and add yet another cobalt blue top to my closet.

Cobalt blue is totally in your colorpalette! You look fab, I would only add a long similar colored necklace with some other complimentary colors in it.

I love this look on you! I hear you on the boots, my Aquatalia booties are that way too. Don't you just love it when you have stylish and comfortable heels?! Cobalt is definitely a good color for you.

Cobalt IS hard to resist! It looks great on you though, can't beat a Helmut Lang for cool drapey-ness. I was pining for those jeans too....gosh I could just steal your whole wardrobe!

You look so terrific in this outfit, esp the color, no wonder you love it. I tend to stay away from drapey tops like this because I'm so short, but I wonder if I could get it to work on me. It looks simply great on you!

Love the skinnies, too! Super cool. And I like the idea of adding a necklace, maybe a silver one?

I don't even own a long silver necklace, lol! Maybe I need to add one to my shopping list. I'm not much of a necklace wearer for some reason. If I do it's usually a little tiny one. Maybe I need to explore this a bit more. I'm such a simple dresser. Thanks everyone for all the great feedback!

Oh, I luv cobalt as well. I'm actually allowing myself to buy up any cobalt that makes me sigh and fits just right (within budget of course). So far it's been a pair of pants and a scarf. That brings me up to 4 pieces.

If cobalt is your color, what is wrong with having lots of it? The blouse was a smart purchase, gorgeous on you and the drape is perfect. Great with the Rag & Bone bottoms and boots too. They are indeed comfortable, I love mine as well but somehow I don't think they (the Newburys) are very flattering on my legs ... although this could be one of my notions.
