I've been feeling like a real underachiever in this challenge. First I couldn't find the newest magazine so I bought March just for practice... Then I needed to get everything out of the wash at the same time.

The first look is what I am actually wearing today, a very rainy day in NoCa, inspired by an April style recipe from the magazine. The dalmation sneakers are one of my all time favorite shoe purchases. I have had them two or three years. I'm excited about the necklace because it is my first piece of homemade jewelry! I found the mid-century sterling Taxco carp as one of a set of clip earrings and I split the set to make friendship necklaces for me and a childhood friend. I love the way the old burnished silver looks on the nude leather cord.

Black ponte knit military jacket, Apt. 9 @ Kohls.
Black/oatmeal Breton stripe T, BRepublic.
Dark denim Joe's wide leg jeans, thrifted.
Black & tan calfhair dalmation print sneaker, Boden.
Vintage Taxco sterling carp necklace, made from thrifted earrings.
Large sterling hoop earrings bought in Evora, Portugal ca. 1988.

The second look is what I wish I were wearing if spring had really sprung this week on schedule. The sandals are from last summer.

Taupe gauze Johnny Was embroidered tunic.
Black wash SaltWorks jeggings, Ross.
Pewter ankh sandals by Sofft.

This has been a lot of fun Khris and quite the brain teaser. Can't wait to see the other looks you guys post. L.
