This summer has been ridiculously hot, I haven't felt like dressing up one single bit! I've been taking liberties with the dress code since it's summer at a university w/no students, meetings, pressure or anything. I've worn khakis, birks as normal shoes (gasp!), tennis shoes even a few days, but one thing I'm loving is linen tee shirts and tanks. I had to *retire* my non-natural fabric content shirts because the heat is outrageous and when you get a bit sweaty...it takes FOREVER to dry :(.
Anyway, I was having another uninspired evening of *what to wear* when I came up with this. Halogen pencil skirt, linen tank & cute heels. My commute shoe today were the birks (and I've actually had them on all day besides pulling out my intended sandals for this pic!). I was going to avoid the NAS this year, but pulling out this skirt today reconfirmed that I DO need it in as many colors as I can manage!
Excuse my crappy cell phone timer pics...that's not even how I roll...I am sitting in an office full of camera equipment and couldn't even set up the camera for a good shot. Shame on me.
