Over the time and completely unintentionally, I had started associating some of my clothes and accessories with certain forum members, so I thought I might invite them all to a small weekly get together.

  1. Monday: Heather bracelet – I though of Queen of Accessorizing when I saw this bracelet, it was fun and different from everything else I have. This is my idea of living on the edge fashion-wise. Some day I might even try stacking a few bracelets and maybe even add necklaces in the mix. Btw, in the light of recent discussions this was my attempt to pose differently.
Wearing: navy blouse with small white, yellow and teal polkadots and uneven hems, dark denim, white leather bracelet with tiny golden studs, black maryjanes.
  2. Tuesday: Una belt - studs again. I love how Una's own belt gives all of the outfits una-ique stamp, so I bought this belt fantasizing it'll move me a bit outside of the polished zone. I love that it loops around twice. I actually think this outfit could have benefit from something to brighten the top part, especially because I wore boots (sudden cold weather), so I'll experiment with that sometime.
Wearing: grey turtleneck, purple sleeveless fit&flare dress, grey belt with pewter studs, dark grey striped hose & black boots.
  3. Wednesday: Bella shirt - Practical solutions don't get much better than using a bit of starch to give the shirts lovely, crisp feel. Thanks bella for bringing it (back) to our attention a while ago, I've fallen in love again with one of my old favourites which is now back in heavy rotation and I think of you with and smile every time I wear it.
Wearing: White button-down shirt, antique-style brown short necklace, dark denim, tan belt, dark brown boots.
  4. Thursday: Angie pearls - hands up who doesn't think of our First Lady when they knot their pearls I wore this dress in my dresses themed week with the nude shoes only. I still think it needs minimum styling to let the pattern do the talking, but pearls are neutrals, right? And I just love how knotting them adds interest to the classic accessory elevating them from safe to funky choice.
Wearing: Patterned (grey, teal, hints of brown) fine knit dress, double-knotted pearls, grey hose, black heels.
  5. Friday: Michelle scarf - smitten by Michelle’s beautiful fit&flare dress with abstract print, I had bought this colourful scarf because the moment I saw it had reminded me of that dress and our glamorous wordsmith. It adds much needed pattern to my wardrobe and new colors to play with, it also ticks the box for wearing pink this week. I'm wearing scarf the way Kari wore hers in the Dress the decade challenge, its ends are pinned at the back with the brooch.
Wearing: blue t-shirt, multicolored scarf, navy flared skirt, white belt, nude pumps.

  6. Bonus 1: anniversary dinner with Mr.O. You've seen it all before except the black bag.
  7. Bonus 2: if you've read everything, your efforts are awarded with some apple muffins and tea
