I have been trying to figure out how to wear my "mullet vest" in the winter. It's too cold to just layer it over a blouse or tee like I do in warmer weather, and it totally defeats the purpose to put a jacket over it. Recently I saw somewhere (maybe here, I apologize if I copied someone here and forgot about it!) that someone had layered a long "sleeveless blazer" vest like mine over a slouchy sweater, so I decided to try that today. I'm also taking advantage of a rare clear-sidewalk day to wear my taupe boots, which are neither waterproof nor tractioned enough for snow.
And I caught a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror just now and realized that the front of this outfit makes me look like Han Solo! (Not that this is a bad thing at all!)
