Hi Ladies,

Happy Weekend to you all. It never seems to stop around here!! My MIL is in hospital and not doing too well. We are visiting daily and and juggling that with work and school holidays:) If you have a moment, prayers and kind thoughts for my MIL would be so appreciated

Very little time for photos this week, but I have made the effort this morning This is a new dress from Cotton On. I bought two!! This one in grey and the same in black. They are fab dresses. Comfy, easy to wear. Wear on their own or layer over them.

Elle was keen to know a little more, so... fabric is soft and quality is 'good'. It's more the top end of the quality spectrum available at Cotton On. Easy to wear, I have a slinky jersey slip dress on under for warmth and so the dress remains draped smoothly. Quite transeasonal. Jacket or topper of some sort and boots now but in Spring it will work with lighter shoe and just scrunch the sleeves. For $30 I think it's good value. I am expecting it it will wash up just fine in the machine based on previous Cotton On purchases in this fabric.

I took three pics. One just worn as is and two with an orphan knit vest I haven't known what to do with - I think may have at least one thing to wear with it know

That is a great dress - it looks super on you and also with your no longer orphaned vest. Lovely colours, beautifully stylish as ever Deborah. Wow! that is a good price too.

Deborah, I'm so sorry about your MIL. It seems your hands are so full now -- what a year you have had.

Great dress - want one myself, and will have to look this up now. Praying right now for you and your MIL. My FIL is also starting to fail (though still at the beginning of this road, so it'll be a few years before we're where you are) it's not an easy road.

I am sorry to hear about your MIL Deborah.
I do like the new dress, especially with the vest to break-up the longer length.
We actually had some sun here today- what a difference a little Winter Sun makes, seems like you need it more there though at the moment with your extra stress. I do hope your MIL improves- I am sure your extra care and prayers will help.

Love that funky dress, and the necklace you chose is perfection...the wooly vest is a great topper, as I find dresses like this so hard to top with a warmer layer.

Cannot offer prayers, but can offer my best thoughts and hopes that she recovers . Interesting dress! It almost has a harem pant look to the hem.

So sorry to hear about your MIL, as Amiable mentioned this is such a difficult road to travel. Illness and aging in the family is especially hard particularly when it is a parent. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your hubby.
The dress is so fabulous on you and while being both arty and edgy is like comfort food for the body. I find that when I am stressed, I totally want soft, drapey and comfortable fabrics around me. With this dress you have the best of both worlds.

So you know if this is available in the US?

Sorry to take so long to get back here. Thank you for the dress love, I'm sure it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it and it's sure to become a work horse, along with the black version. And thank you for your thoughts. My MIL is stable but we are not seeing any improvement. We are spending as much time with her as we can:).
